What is cold molding process?

The cold molding process is carried out according to the graphite molding process and reinforced plastic molding process, and then the temperature is increased at a specified heating rate to carbonize and make a carbon-carbon composite material. Usually, the obtained carbon/carbon products have a low density, contain more pores, and the fibers are cross-linked with the matrix. Liquid phase impregnation, carbonization (or graphitization) densification treatment is required, and repeated many times until the required requirements are met.
