SMC sheet is composed of chopped fiberglass impregnated with a high grade polyester resin,low shrinkage additives and various additives,is then pressed under high temperature to obtain a polyvalent electrically insulating rigid sheet.
SMC use long fiberglass,GPO-3 use fiberglass mat and BMC use chopped fiberglassSMC Sheet have good electrical property,mechanical property, good performance against arc and tracking than BMC,but its mechanical strength is slightly lower than UPGM203 sheet.
