In particular, the price of neopentyl glycol, which has an important impact on the cost of molding resin, has directly soared by more than 1,000 yuan, resulting in a sharp increase in the cost of various UPR products, among which the cost of molding UPR products has jumped. UPR manufacturers were forced to follow the increase in the price of related products this week. Since the production of maleic anhydride plants in Jiangning and Wanhua will not be restarted until late June, the price of maleic anhydride will remain high in the near future; and the price of styrene will depend on the further trend of Sinopec's pure benzene price, and it is difficult to make a significant correction in the short term. Taking all factors into consideration, the UPR market price will remain high and firm in the near future.
