FRP pultruded rectangular profile, also known as FRP flat steel, is composed of high-grade polyester resin and is reinforced with glass fiber.
This profile is a popular shape of FRP pultrusion profile, which has the advantages of high bearing capacity, strong structure, high temperature resistance, fire resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, long service life and maintenance-free, and is widely used in many industries. They are mainly used in walkways, platforms, ladders and stairs, but also in chemical plants, sewage treatment plants, pharmaceutical plants, petrochemical and oil refineries and power plants.

2. What kind of rein does this profile use?
A:They use unsaturated resin. Unsaturated polyester resin is a thermosetting resin, which can be solidified into an insoluble polymer network polymer under the action of heat or initiator. However, the mechanical strength of this polymer is very low and can not meet the requirements of most applications. When reinforced with glass fiber, it can become a composite material, commonly known as “FRP”.
According to the application of unsaturated polyester resin, it is divided into winding resin, spraying resin, RTM resin, pultrusion resin, SMC, BMC resin, flame retardant resin, food grade resin, anti-corrosion resin, air drying resin, Polaroid resin, handicraft resin, button resin, agate resin, man-made stone resin, high transparency resin, crystal resin, atomic ash resin, etc.
3. What are the materials of the Rectangular Profile?
A:There are many materials that can be made intoRectangular profile, such as steel, aluminum, copper, wood, rubber, plastic and fiberglass.
4. How about dimensional stability of this profile?
A:The unsaturated resin is crosslinked by heating in the processing process to form a network structure. The dimension of its products is stable under normal conditions, and the post shrinkage after molding is also small. The shape and size of the product change very little under long-term continuous load. Its creep performance depends on load, temperature and loading time. Under the condition of fixed load and temperature, the creep of thermosetting plastics is much smaller than that of thermoplastics after long-time loading.
5. What is the difference between this profile and SMC Machining flat bar?
A: SMC machining flat bar is processed by SMC insualtion sheet and this product is through heating and extrusion from the mold and this production process is continuous, the product quality is stable and the output capacity is high than machining production.SMC and FRP main material is fiberglass and resin,both SMC machining flat bar and FRP Pultruded Rectangular Profile have the advantages of light weight, non-conductive, stable performance and high mechanical strength.
6. What is the difference between FRP Pultruded Rod Profile and other FRP Pultruded Profile?
A: FRP Pultruded Profile generally used as Slot Wedge in motor and transformer application.FRP Pultruded Rod usually used as electrical support and core rod.
7. What are the factors affecting the profile surface?
A:The quality of profile surface is determined by many aspects, and there are many influencing factors.First of all, the most critical factor affecting the product quality of profile surface is whether the manufacturer has rich production experience. Because if the manufacturer is a new manufacturer and has a short production history, it means that his experience is not very rich. Naturally, he can not deal with the difficulties encountered in the production process well, which will of course affect the quality of products. Therefore, for manufacturers, if they want to improve the quality of products, they must hire some professionals with rich production experience, so as to ensure the quality of products to a great extent.
