G11 and G10 epoxy boards are both rolled composite materials of glass fiber and resin, and their main differences are as follows:
-High temperature resistance: The heat resistance level of G10 epoxy board is generally Class B, and it can usually be used for a long time in an environment around 130 ℃. The heat resistance level of G11 epoxy board is H level, and the heat resistance temperature can reach 160-180 ℃, which can maintain good mechanical strength and electrical performance in higher temperature environments.
-Electrical insulation performance: Both have good insulation performance, but G11 epoxy board has more stable insulation performance in high temperature and high humidity environments due to its special resin system and formula, and relatively better electrical insulation performance.
-Mechanical properties: G10 epoxy board has high mechanical strength and can withstand significant pressure and impact. The mechanical properties of G11 epoxy board at room temperature are similar to those of G10, but at high temperatures, G11 has a higher retention rate of mechanical strength and stronger resistance to deformation.
-Water absorption rate: The water absorption rate of G10 epoxy board is relatively low, while the water absorption rate of G11 epoxy board is even lower. After 24 hours of immersion, the water absorption rate is only about 0.09%, which makes the performance of G11 more stable in humid environments.
-Application field: G10 epoxy board is commonly used as insulation structural components in motors and electrical equipment, such as circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, etc. G11 epoxy board is not only used in general electrical insulation fields, but also particularly suitable for insulation components in humid environments, transformer oil, and places with high temperature resistance requirements, such as aerospace, high-end industrial equipment, and other fields.
-Price: Due to the superior performance of G11 epoxy board compared to G10, its production process and raw material requirements are relatively high, so the price of G11 epoxy board is usually higher than that of G10 epoxy board.
