2. Product Description
Using sheet molding compound to press at high temperature, different shapes of SMC derived products are obtained through different molds. The production process of U-beam groove profiles includes molding and pultrusion. Our SMC U beam channel profiles are moulded because the product capacity of this process is higher than that of pultrusion. The product consists of high-grade polyester resin and uses glass fiber as reinforcement. SMC U beam channel profiles are used for structural profiles and can be used in corrosive environments such as: galvanizing processes, water treatment systems and walkways in chemical, petrochemical, cooling towers, offshore installations, railway systems and construction areas.

3. What kind of fiberglass use for this profile?
A:The main raw materials for producing glass fiber are quartz sand, alumina and pyrophyllite, limestone, dolomite, boric acid, soda ash, mirabilite, fluorite, etc. According to the shape and length, glass fiber can be divided into continuous fiber, fixed length fiber and glass wool; According to the composition of glass, it can be divided into alkali free, chemical resistant, high alkali, medium alkali, high strength, high elastic modulus and alkali resistant (alkali resistant) glass fiber.This profiles use alkali free fiberglass and also known as E-Glass fiberglass.
E-Glass fiberglass, refers to fiberglass with low alkali metal oxide content. The R2O content of E-Glass fiberglass is less than 0.8%, which is an aluminum borosilicate component. It has good chemical stability, electrical insulation and strength. It is mainly used as electrical insulation material.

6. How long is the service life of SMC molding profile?
A:SMC molding profile is made of glass fiber and resin. First of all, the quality of materials will determine the performance of the sheet. We all use materials from well-known suppliers. Secondly, in order to meet the needs of fire prevention, some modified additives will be added to enhance the corresponding performance. In addition, the proportion of fiber and resin also affects the performance of molding profile.The shelf life generally is up to 15 years, if buried underground is up to 50 years.
7. What is the different between this profile and FRP Pultruded U Beam Channel Profile?
A: SMC Profile is processed by SMC molding process and FRP Pultruded Trapezoidal Slot Wedge is through heating and extrusion from the mold and this production process is continuous, the production process is different and the out capacity is different.
8. Is the sample free if we required a piece of sample?
A: SMC Sheet sample is free but need customer to afford the shipping cost,we will deduct this cost if we have order cooperation.
9. What is delivery time?
A: We capacity is 300T per month and we will provide the 15-25days delivery time for SMC mold profile.
