During the power outage inspection of the high-voltage switchgear, it was found that there was a phenomenon of insulation partition discharge, which was subtle and no obvious discharge traces were found anywhere. Through a magnifying glass observation, it was found that linear black objects along the electric field direction can be seen at the edge of the interphase partition, mainly located at the edge of the barrier on the line connecting the two phase contacts.
Generally, the appearance of this black substance can be stereotyped as caused by discharge. In major countries, resources are important to them. Therefore, the possibility of the configuration of high-voltage switchgear not meeting the standard is not sufficient, unless there are special requirements, but this configuration system directly leads to safety issues for workers. Another issue is that there are external cables in the distribution cabinet, which leads to a poor environment and a long consumption time for installing insulation partitions inside the high-voltage switchgear.
In this complex environment, the heat dissipation of the insulation partition will be even worse, accelerating the service life of the insulation partition, causing it to age rapidly, and if left in this environment for a long time, it will also lead to the accumulation of stains on the insulation partition. This leads to the discharge of the insulation barrier, which can cause necessary safety accidents for workers.
