What are the characteristics of GPO-3?

Jul 13, 2023

GPO-3 insulation board, also known as GPO-3 laminated plate. It is a hard board like insulation material made by immersing alkali free glass fiber felt board in unsaturated polyester resin paste and adding corresponding additives through hot pressing. GPO-3 insulation board, also known as UPGM-203, refers to unsaturated polyester glass fiber felt material, used for mechanical and electrical purposes. It has good electrical performance at high humidity and good mechanical performance at medium temperature, with flame retardancy, arc resistance, and resistance to leakage marks.

GPO-3 insulation board electrical insulation

All electrical insulation laminated products are naturally high-quality insulators. Based on the hierarchical characteristics and utilizing its optimized special performance, it is widely used in the field of engineering technology in the electrical field.

Flame retardant performance of GPO-3 insulation board

Grades 1580 and UTR are UL rated V-0. Grade UTR does not contain halogens, and the system emits very little smoke and toxic fumes when on fire.

mechanical strength

High strength glass fiber reinforced polyester laminates do not shatter. Due to its isolation properties, rigid laminated materials provide structural support. Flexible laminated materials can be used for applications with a minimum bending diameter of 19mm.

Heat resistance performance

Laminated materials provide excellent protective properties and spatial stability during the heating process. These laminated materials have UL temperature ratings in the electronic and mechanical ranges of 120-210 ℃ and 130-210 ℃.

Easy to form

These materials can be easily processed and formed using standard metal operating equipment. It can be stamped, drilled, machined, cut, and ground.
